Apparently Some People Don’t Think a Gas Grill Is a Real Grill

I just found out that some people don’t think using a gas grill counts as “real grilling,” and I genuinely thought they were joking.

I was talking to a friend about cooking outside and said I like using gas because I can walk outside, turn a knob, throw the food on, and start cooking almost immediately.

He looked at me and said:

“That’s not grilling.”

I laughed.

Because obviously he was joking.

Right?

No.

He was completely serious.
